Glen Keith 1993
Aged 28 Years
Out of stock
The Glen Keith 28-year-old 1993 is a truly refined vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottling. Blink and you’ll miss it. The distillery was always a bit of an experimental site even since its inception by Sam Bronfman of Seagram’s to supply juice for his blends. Over the years they’ve experimented with different distillation techniques, yeast strains, and even using peated water to influence the final flavour of the malt. Today it has settled into making a mostly fruity and generally light body spirit. With lots of age, those fruit flavours turn towards the tropical side and the mouthfeel is delectable and rich.
This light gold coloured whisky has a sweet, rounded, and mellow nose of sweet vanilla tablet, butter shortbread, and green grapes. On the palate it is sweet and smooth with vanilla, meringue, and milk chocolate, leaving a long, pleasant, and satisfying finish.
